Kern S.A.F.E. (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) is a coalition of Animal Welfare advocates within Kern County. It is comprised of shelters, rescues, trainers and volunteers. Our goal is to educate and provide resources for pet owners in an effort to reduce the high intake and euthanasia rates in our shelters.

Mission Statement
At its core, our mission is to end unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals in Kern County’s local shelters. Our dedicated volunteers provide resources, support and education to the people of Kern. We hope to facilitate a healthier, less overpopulated and improved life for the animals in our community.
